Who could imagine that turning 2 would be this much fun!?!

Cotton candy, a coloring table, face painting, a bounce house, a petting zoo, and rides on a donkey and pony were just some of the birthday party activities!

THIS was Evy’s hilarious face she made while everyone sang happy birthday. Her mixture of being overwhelmed, embarrassed, and shy during that moment was priceless!

…but she brightened up quickly when she got her big girl birthday gift…. a pink Cadillac!

What a fun day! Happy Birthday, sweet Evy!

Flippin’ Hot.

That’s what this couple is!

Sugary sweet. Meet Beth.   The strong silent type. Meet Jason.

This adorable couple just knocked me off my feet for their photo session. I could not get over just how cute they are together.

Can you stand the love? I barely can! Beth and Jason, I’m so glad that we only have a few short months until your wedding day.

Baby Tommy has arrived! This sleepy baby cares very little about the noise big brother may make. He just goes right on sleeping. I hope that trend continues as you grow older, Baby Tommy. It’s one thing to have one rambunctious boy in the house…. but now that Chad and Meghan have two boys, they may appreciate a much needed sleep-break! 😉

Andrew is the sweetest, smartest little boy. He’s already got a great handle on what it means to be a fantastic big bro!

Meghan and Chad, congratulations! Tommy is a sweetie pie. Enjoy your new little addition!

Melissa is my photog friend. And we’ve got boys the same age. (I have a special place in my heart for her son, Jack.)  And her family is downright gorgeous. So why wouldn’t I adore every aspect of this session!? I am always honored (and super nervous) when another photographer asks for my services. While I might be nervous, the good thing is, I get where Mel is coming from when it comes time to take her photos. Since she’s always taking photos, SHE doesn’t ever get a chance to be in any herself.

Mel, I hope you love your photos. Thank you for a fun time. You guys were awesome!

First comes love, then comes marriage…

It started with these two:

…..to create this family:

AND THEN Melissa’s parents and siblings joined the party for photos! This is a dream for myself. Maybe it’s only because I’m a photographer, but I would just love to have shots of my sibs and parents like these…

Thank you Fann/Kues Family~ It was wonderful to see you again.

What a beautiful family! I know these will be treasured by this family for years to come. Beautiful job!ReplyCancel

My sister-in-law Melissa and her husband Jim are due to have their baby any. day. now.

(~This session was done the day before her due date~)

First we had to sneak in a little “family of four fun” in before they added the newest member.

When I approached Mel about the idea of a painting session, she was all about it without hesitation. Of course, it was only suggested because it is just so them: fun, fresh, and silly…

…and somehow this family makes messy, sticky, wet paint so beautiful.

Berea and Titus are going to be excellent big siblings to their baby brother or sister (it’s gonna be a surprise!).

Berea is SO, SO excited to meet this baby. And I imagine she’ll be a big help for her momma.

Sweet, sweet Titus. I can’t even imagine how he’ll be as a big brother. I’ve just gotten to a point where I’ve realized he’s not a baby. But there’s no doubt that he will love his little brother/sister big time!

Congrats “V” Family! See you and your new little one soon!
