There’s nothing more precious than to have a newborn baby to be thankful for on Thanksgiving.

Kendall was born the week of Thanksgiving and her family graciously welcomed me in their house to photograph her first day home – Thanksgiving Day!

Congrats to Brandy and Elliot! These two were my absolute favorite couple of the whole year. Not just because they rocked at their engagement session, not just because I couldn’t get enough of Brandy’s infectious smile and bubbly personality when we first met, not because she offered to have me bring my baby along for her wedding day in a newborn sling but also because she, Elliot, and their entire family were a million percent genuinely Christ-like. Love just radiated from every one of them.

Elliot and Brandy decided to do a first look (a photographer’s dream!). I love capturing the candid moments of their first glimpses of each other.

These guys LOOOOOVE each other. There’s no doubt that this is a love that will last forever.

I’m not talking about marriage, I’m talking about LOVE.
I can already see them having babies, growing up and growing old together…. smiling and laughing and loving every minute of it.

Speaking of love, the group of people that Brandy and Elliot surround themselves with aren’t too shabby either. There is just so much genuine, agape love goin’ on here. It was one of those days where MY cheeks were sore from smiling the whole day along with the bride and groom.

Brandy’s mom (yes, that’s her MOM) was also her Maid of Honor.

The ceremony was as gorgeous and heartfelt as the bride and groom.

There was a point in the ceremony where everyone was invited to pray over Elliot & Brandy and their new endeavors into marriage.

Rice? Bubbles? Nope. This fun couple choose Glow Sticks to send them off!

As if the day couldn’t get any more perfect, my second shooter, Shefy did an amazing job. She’s responsible for the first dance image below.

During the first dance, Brandy’s sister sang the song “Lucky”. It was beautiful.
They really know how to have fun. Lots of crazy dancing happening at this wedding!

Brandy and Elliot, you ended my wedding season with a HUGE BANG. I loved that you loved every second of your day. Congratulations!

Donna! These are STUNNING! You sooooo outdid yourself here! I absolutely love the last picture! ๐Ÿ™‚ReplyCancel

This sweet little family is packing up and moving away from STL. Like most people, they are moving because of a job. They have enjoyed their brief time as a family of 3 here in St. Louis and wanted some photo memories before they head out at the beginning of the new year.

I did some fall photos of Amelia last year when her family came into town to visit from London. This time, they didn’t travel as far but I still hope the time spent with me was worth it!

Daddy couldn’t be here this time (but maybe next year!) but we still had some giggles and laughs. I cannot believe how quickly time flies by.
Amelia is so curious, so smart, and so so cute!
I had a great time with you two! Great to see you again. ๐Ÿ™‚

Mary and I have the same love for pictures. Just like me, she would have family photos taken at any opportunity! There’s just something unique about capturing every moment, milestone, and growth of the family through photos.

This time, it was for Mary Grace’s one year photos!

But, of course, we had to capture the whole family. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have no idea what it’s like to have a little girl, and up until a year ago, Mary didn’t either.

She was the momma surrounded by her boys…but not anymore. ๐Ÿ™‚

I imagine that there’s a sweet softness that enters a family when a little girl arrives. No matter if she’s destined to be a spunky tomboy or a pretty princess, God makes little girls to have that special kind of sweet softness that is unique only to them.

Happy Birthday, Mary Grace! You are a sweetie!

Thank you Chris and Mary for the opportunity, I enjoyed seeing you and getting to know you better. ๐Ÿ™‚
