Donna Harris Photography bio picture

I love when I get the chance to photograph a family again. It’s so neat to see Georgia getting so big. The last time we had a photo session she seemed much much smaller! She’s got so much personality now! What a big girl. 🙂

Georgia’s mom, Kristen, is HANDS DOWN one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Period. She couldn’t be horrible to someone even if she tried. Combine that beautiful personality with her looks and grace and I’d say that her husband, Chris, is a pretty lucky guy. 🙂

I managed to capture many smiles from Georgia and each one seems to have a unique way of telling a story of the moment.

Georgia, I had fun playing with you at our photo session. 🙂 Thanks Chris and Kristen for giving me the chance to capture a few fun moments.

What a perfect way to start my marathon family fall photo session day! These guys really are the best! I’ve been friends with Christi and Jeff for what seems like forever now. We’ve got kids the same age, plus, we’ve got the boys and they’ve got the girls so we’ve already matched them up for courtship! Good thing too, because if I didn’t snatch these beauties up for my own boys, someone was sure to grab them quickly!

Isn’t Audrey a doll? No, really, if she were encased in a cardboard box with a plastic window, I wouldn’t think twice.

Photobucket

I can’t get over the curls! Love them!!!

Photobucket

This was my favorite of the day, no, wait, the week, ok, THE MONTH.

Photobucket

And I couldn’t decide which way I loved it more. Black and White or Color?

Alexa is the newest and sweetest addition to the family. I wonder if she’ll have the spunk that Audrey has or if she’ll be like her Momma and quietly capture a person’s attention with modest charm.

It was a fun fall morning. Audrey loooooved finding the perfect leaf and giving it to me as a present.

Thanks, Jeff and Christi, you guys were fantastic. You started off my splendid day and made it even more terrific.

There’s only Joy now.

I don’t know if I ever imagined swings in heaven until today, but I’m sure that they are there.

photo taken byAdrianna, VJ’s big sister and my super-talented neice.

My nephew VJ passed away this week after a long and hard battle with hypo-plastic left heart syndrome along with plastic bronchitis. Throughout his fight, we saw many miracles. There were days the doctors said he wouldn’t make it through the night but he did. There were situations where they said things wouldn’t turn around and without medical reason, they did. Finally, this week, God and VJ said ‘enough’. Enough of this broken world, it’s time to go to heaven.

When I look at this picture all I can imagine is that this is exactly what VJ is doing right now in heaven. Swinging, laughing, and having a great time.

VJ, in the short time you were here, you changed our lives forever. I love you. I look forward to the day when I will see you again.

I'm so sorry to hear that Donna. That's a beautiful picture your niece took.. what a precious boy. When I think about my loved ones who have passed away it always comforts me to know I'll see them again someday. I hope you and your family can take some comfort in that.ReplyCancel
