Ok, so you know what was weird? Recently, I had a few Facebook friends say “I just love your blog, I tried to comment but for some reason I was unable.” Then I thought back to how people would contact me personally when they saw something liked… or they’d leave me a Facebook comment… or an email but never an actual blog comment.

Hmmmm… Well, after some investigating I realized that somehow ‘comment moderation’ had been altered in the blog settings. So NO ONE has been able to make a comment!

And here I just thought that you all were quiet! I’m glad to know it was a ‘computer glitch’ (which has now been fixed) and hope to hear from you soon!

    Hi! You took pictures of my friend Maureen and her baby bump! What an incredible job! You definitely captured the joy of the moment. As someone who is dabbling with photography…I was wondering if you were a cannon or a nikon user and what type of camera you used. Yes, we already had his party but I wanted a “Mommy and Me Day” with my little guy!

I took Roman to the Painted Zebra so he could create a something fun for his 2nd birthday.

He picked out a Piggy Bank and insisted where we sit and where he placed his pig!

We had the most fun day. I am going to remember this forever.
I am really starting to see how fast time goes and just can’t believe he’s SO big (and he’s only TWO!). I know it’s just the beginning of me saying that, too.

As a parent, I understand the feeling of finally having my baby in my arms…no longer waiting to hold him, see him, meet him.

For my good friends Jay and Cathy, this was especially true. After a long journey of waiting…they finally have their babies.

I met their twins, Logan and Emma, in the NICU just days after they were born.

Yep, it’s a BOY! …oh, yeah, and I’m pregnant.

If you were wondering when you missed the announcement, guess what, you didn’t. This little guy was a secret to you and the rest of the world until recently. We decided not to tell anyone that I was pregnant until we found out the gender of the baby. We took advantage of Roman’s 2nd birthday party to surprise our close family and friends. You can check out the video clip below to see how it all went down:

We had the ultrasound framed so that people could sign it and we’ll hang the keepsake in our new little boy’s nursery.

So that’s the ‘big news’!

It’s been nice having my pregnancy fly by unnoticed but it will also be nice to have it out in the open where you can celebrate with me!

Of course, I’ll have all kinds of details coming up about what you need to expect while I’m on maternity leave. We’ve survived this once before, remember? 🙂 I’m not going to quit on you, I promise!
